For the first time this season we managed to get some cricket in this weekend, however it was not completely unaffected. The saturday 2nd XI game was cancelled against Goring 2nd XI due to their pitch being waterlogged. This saturday’s 2nd XI fixture (12th May) away at Goring CC has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. The 1st XI fixture (home to Goring) and the 3rd XI fixture (away at Rustington) are still planned to go ahead.

So another weekend was lost to the torrential rain of April 2012. This means the first game of the 2012 season will be the 1st XI & 2nd XI league openers against Glynde & Beddingham on Saturday, May 5. Our third XI face RAM 2nd XI at Hill Barn on the same day.
