Match report Findon u14 v Middleton 30/04/06

Middleton loss the toss and findon decided to bat first we didn't get off to a good start losing three wickets before the fourth over. We then settled down a bit with Thomas Blake retiring 0n 25 partnered by Jack Wilson who was bowled for 13 Paul Jackson then retired 0n 27. After we gained a few runs and lost a few wickets. We finished the innings on 117 For 9

Middleton came in to bat and Jack Wilson took 2 wickets in the second over the second being caught behind in the slips by Chris Double. Paul Jackson bowled a third wicket in the third which was caught by new comer Grant Thetford. Jack Wilson went on to take 3 more wickets making a very impressive 5 wickets total. Chris double took 1 wicket as did Grant Thetford and Max cripps with a catch from Glen Brisdon and Thomas Blake bowled 3 Maiden overs. Middleton were all out for 45.

A great start to the season.
