Findon CC reports the sad passing of former Cuckfield cricketer John Mole who played against the club many times in years gone by.
Senior club members remember him as someone always very competitive but playing in the right spirit. Both Cuckfield and Findon are clubs who share a similar ethos, driven forward by people like John, who put time and effort into furthering local club cricket. He will be sadly missed.
The funeral will be Monday, 3rd December, 12.30pm at Cuckfield Church followed by a gathering afterwards which is very likely to be at Jeremy’s Restaurant, Borde Hill.
