Findon CC are delighted to announce Georgia Adams as our coach for the Girls and Women section. Georgia is currently the captain of Sussex Women and plays for the Super League team, The Southern Vipers, who won the first competition in 2016. She has been involved in the Senior England Women’s Academy for several years.

Even though Georgia is pursuing her playing career, coaching is a passion helping to develop all of the players she coaches, coaching credentials include: Assistant Coach at The Aldridge Academy, a post she took after graduating at Loughborough University in the Summer of 2017 along with coaching on the junior Sussex program as U15 Head Coach and Assistant Coach with the U17s.

We are excited and looking forward to all the girls and women at Findon having this opportunity to learn form a highly skilled and passionate coach, such a truly amazing opportunity for all our female players. The club have been able to engage Georgia due to a generous Junior Legacy left to the club by Mike Payne a club stalwart for many years.

Georgia is keen to promote female cricket and women in sport and I’m sure this will inspire both our current players along with helping recruit new players.

Training will be on Friday evenings 6pm-7.30pm for all girls and women starting 20th April. The Friday training night will also see all sections at the club coming together. The club house will be open and there will be BBQ evenings, so all parents, friends and family welcome to come and enjoy being part of our club.

So come along and get involved in this exciting new phase of female cricket at Findon, contact Elaine Judges for more details 07973 747419 or elaine.judges@me.com.
