Findon Cricket Club appoint Matt Machan as club coach

Findon Cricket Club has teamed up with the former Sussex and Scotland International cricketer.

FCC are delighted to announce that Matt Machan will become the cricket clubs lead coach for the 2018 season. Matt will be coaching throughout the summer on Tuesday and Friday nights spreading his time between the senior teams and all junior age groups. This is massive coup for the club to bring in such a high quality coach. The knowledge and experiences Matt will provide will undoubtedly aid the development of our juniors and senior players. We think this will also put us above other clubs in the area by being able to provide high quality coaching available to all playing members and help with recruitment for future players.

After retiring from professional cricket last summer through injury Matt came in and did a number of sessions with our juniors at the back of last summer and became an instant hit with kids and parents alike.

Matt will be coaching our 3 senior sides plus the u17 and u19 squads on a Tuesday night, and will also be coaching our juniors on our new junior night up the club starting on Friday 20th April, which will run throughout the summer term.

Alongside his club commitments Matt will also be available for 1 to 1 sessions, group training sessions to all FCC members up the club during the summer, plus Matt has secured the facilities at Arundel Castle for 1 to 1 sessions and small group sessions during the Easter holidays available to all FCC members on first come first serve basis.

If you are interested in any additional coaching and sessions with Matt please check out his website at www.precisecricketcoaching.com and get in touch with Matt at matt@precisecricketcoaching.com should you have any questions.
